School Traffic

First I want to preface this that with the new California budget that my kids elementary school has NO buses. The school is about 1 mile from my house and has two different campuses, about a block apart. One for kindergarten and one for 1-5th grade. I left my house at 7:30 and dropped off at both schools. Just dropped off nothing else and got home at7:58. that is almost 30 minutes for 2 mile trip. Got to love the traffic.

We had to park forever far away from the school as everyone was going in with their kids today. Luckily since he has AM kindergarten there won't be too many parent picking up when I have to.

I am so jealous of you that your kids are in school now. It almost sounds like it might be better for you all to walk. Good luck with the traffic. Hopefully it will be better as people figure it out

Wow. Maybe it will get better later in the school year once people get in the groove.

Welcome to SITS!

Wow, I always complain about having to buy so many school supplies that the school should provide!

I'm dropping by from SITS Welcomistas to welcome you to the family!

I am glad that my kids will be able to walk to school when they start Kindergarten. I may have that problem for Jr High and High School though...

That is terrible and it's entirely unfair that your children's school does not have buses!
I do hope it gets better for you though. Maybe if you get a motorcycle you can cut in and out of traffic and be there in no time. Wait! You have 6 children, don't you. Well, so much for that plan! ;)

Stopping by from SITS and wanted to welcome you to the SITStahood! So great to have you on board!

Love,
Taryn
